The UHF audio signal for the 5 p.m. news broadcast hosted at that time by Ivor Mills, ITN was overrun by a voice. A speaker claimed to represent an “Intergalactic Association” and interrupted the news program for approximately 6 minutes. Many were puzzled by the name of the a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳. Some called it Vrillon, Gillon, and others called it Gramaha and Asteron.
The a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳’s message was clear: “All of your weapons of evil must withdrawn” and “You only have a brief time to learn to live in peace together.” The sound of broadcasting has not been altered, and the image is unaffected. After the a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳’s statement, normal transmission resumed within a few minutes.
“This is Vrillon speaking to you. For many years, you have been seen as stars in the sky. We speak today to you in peace, wisdom, and the same way we spoke to our brothers and sister all over this planet. We are here to w̳a̳r̳n you about the fate of your race and our earth. This is to allow you to be part of the great awakening that will occur when the world enters the New Age in Aquarius. Although the New Age could bring you great peace and growth, it is important that your rulers are aw̳a̳r̳e about the negative influences that can influence their decisions
